I was lucky enough to be casted for Project Runway Season 1. It all started winter break of my sophomore year in high school with a simple application. And from there I then had skype calls, portfolio submissions, interviews, etc. until May. Narrowing the field down from thousands, to one hundred, down to the final twelve. I then filmed in New York City over the summer. I was ultimately eliminated from the completion on the 7th episode. From this, I gained a large amount of knowledge about the industry, sewing and design techniques, and learned more about myself along the way. This was an experience that I am so grateful to have been apart of and will cherish the memories for a lifetime.
